Love your heart

February is the month of love. It’s a time to express love and feel loved in return. And this includes loving yourself! Sometimes that can be tough to do and may take some time to develop but one of the BEST ways to start showing love for yourself is to take care of your body. You only have one life to live, so take care of your health so you can live it to the fullest!

In the last post, we talked about February being American Heart Month and how you can boost your heart health. One of the best things you can do is eating a healthy diet. There are lots of diets out there and research has shown that, specifically, a plant-based diet reduces the risk of cardiovascular related issues like obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. A plant-based diet- that might sound a little overwhelming and thoughts might start running through your mind like, “where do I even start?! Am I supposed to just eat kale for the rest of my life??”

No, not at all!
